Thrillseekers: Have A Look At These Incredible Bridges
Deception Pass Bridge, Washington
Gosh, even the name of this bridge is scary! This foggy pathway rests 180 feet above a reservoir and connects Whidbey Island to Fidalgo Island. Before the bridge was built, locals had to wait for a ferry to get from one side to the other.
Today, Deception Pass Bridge is one of the scenic wonders of the Northwest United States. People can walk or drive across it, but they must look out: the fog rarely leaves this place.
