Katie’s career crumbles

Prior to getting together with Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes had plenty of opportunities in her acting career which began after her main role on Dawson’s Creek. However, during her relationship and marriage to Tom between 2005 until 2012, Katie only had five main roles in acting and this was apparently down to her husband.

It was reported that Tom persuaded Katie to turn down plenty of film and TV roles and even to drop her manager. While Tom’s involvement in her career hiatus can’t be confirmed, it was evident that Katie’s career dwindled down in the years that she was involved with the Mission Impossible actor.
