In 2006, Tom Cruise wed Katie Holmes at a 15th century Italian castle with Andre Bocelli performing and a huge fireworks display. It was said that the nuptials cost around $2 million and had some very famous faces in attendance.

Tom’s best man was none other than Scientology chairman David Miscavige, but surprisingly, Miscavige’s wife Shelly was absent, leading actress Leah Remini to question this, before she was silenced by Scientology officials. Remini was also told by Scientology officials to bring her best friend, Jennifer Lopez, to Cruise’s wedding and the singer jumped on stage to perform one of her songs live.
