There’s nothing special about a normal lake in California – in fact, the state has a bunch of them. One thing is strange about Horseshoe Lake: the inexplicable amount of Carbon Dioxide surrounding the area.

The Carbon Dioxide seems to have arrived after a series of earthquakes that destroyed the neighboring areas. This resulted in a lot of death and destruction of nature in the area. There are many signs warning people to stay away from the region, so we don’t recommend you stop here for a swim.
