As one half of Simon and Garfunkel, Paul Simon wrote some of the most popular and iconic songs of all time. Together, these two penned anthems like Mrs. Robinson, and Sound of Silence. Generally, Simon was largely responsible for most of the creative process, although it is said he often bounced ideas and phrases off Art Garfunkel. After they broke up in 1970, Paul Simon wrote and released Graceland, which sold more than 14 million copies.
