As one of the co-founders of The Beach Boys, Brian Wilson was the mastermind behind some of the biggest hits ever recorded. After being signed to Capitol Records in 1962, he went on to write 24 Top 40 records. Generations later, many younger songwriters have claimed that he was a genius and he is often cited as an inspiration. He was in The Beach Boys with his brothers and their cousin.
