Our Own ‘Evil’ Twin?

It’s like something straight out of a sci-fi film. When Yamini Karanam started behaving weirdly, she consulted a doctor. Over time, Karanam had difficulty understanding basic instructions, she was sleeping more, and couldn’t communicate with her friends. What was happening?

Doctors found a tumor in her brain – but this wasn’t any old tumor. It contained some strains of hair, small teeth, and some bones. It turns out that Karanam had engulfed her twin while in the womb. Today, she refers to her tumor as her ‘evil’ twin.
