Shawn Johnson saw international acclaim when she became the 2008 Olympic balance beam gold medalist and team, all-around and floor exercise silver medalist, before going on to appear in Dancing With The Stars. In 2016, she became engaged to NFL long snapper Andrew East at Wrigley Field during a Chicago Cubs game.

The two were married in 2016 and after detailing her struggles with getting pregnant, Johnson announced she was due to give birth to her first child in 2019.
