Pink Floyd is considered one of the best progressive rock bands, deserving of its place as number three on our list. In total, the band has sold more than 250 million records over 14 studio albums. Dark Side of the Moon is still considered one of the best albums ever recorded, 46 years later.

Even though Pink Floyd technically disbanded in 1994, Roger Waters still tours and performs the band’s biggest hits. These include Wish You Were Here, Time, and Money. Their album, The Wall, also became a musical film and is critically acclaimed.
