In 2004, Milla Jovovich was named as the highest paid model by Forbes. The Ukraine native started modeling at at the young age of 12, covering Italian fashion magazine Lei. Her gained international attention at the age of 15 with her role in Return to the Blue Lagoon.

Her next breakthrough role came in the 1997 French science-fiction film The Fifth Element. In 2003, she started a clothing line with fellow model Carmen Hawk and in recent years Milla has her own production company.
