This ‘rom-comzom‘ (‘romantic comedy with zombies’) won critical acclaim upon its release in 2004. The Romero homage made stars of its then-television stars, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and director Edgar Wright gained a cult following for his unique filmmaking style.
