Owning such a lucrative business, it was only natural that Kylie would try to trademark her business names. However, she ran into some serious trouble when China’s governing body for trademarks had denied three applications filed by Jenner’s company.

The application to trademark “Kylie Skin” was denied because another company had already applied for the term “Kylie” in 2017. They eventually had to abandon the idea and move forward with the name “Kylie Cosmetics”. Turns out you can’t have everything!
