Between playing to sold out shows and interacting with adoring fans, John Lennon loved to play the board game Monopoly in his off time. He had his own set that he brought with him to hotel and when on flights.

He was very particular in that he had to stand when throwing the dice and Boardwalk and Park Place were his favorite properties to buy. Many times, he wouldn’t care if he lost the game as long as those two properties were in his possession.
