He claimed he saw a UFO in New York

On August 23rd 1974, John Lennon claimed to have seen a UFO over New York with his girlfriend at the time May Pang. He explained to Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine that he had an urge to go to the window.

He said “no more than 100 feet away was this thing with ordinary electric light bulbs flashing on and off round the bottom, one non-blinking red light on top.” Pang also confirmed the sighting adding the lights were “dazzling to the mind.”
