After the runaway success of Home Alone, the second movie was highly anticipated and everyone knew all of the cast. When it came to filming in the Chicago O’Hare International Airport, the entire terminal had to stay operational but Macaulay Culkin was receiving plenty of attention.

Extra security had to be brought in to keep the fans and paparazzi at bay during the shoot. The airport scenes were shot in February and production had to make a special request to the airport to keep all their Christmas decorations up.
