These two on-screen lovebirds were actually off-screen enemies. The Romeo and Juliet stars never quite saw eye-to-eye with each other and never even spoke while the cameras weren’t shooting. Apparently, Danes didn’t approve of DiCaprio and his boyish humor on set.

His prankster antics were never appreciated by her which caused production to be a bit of a chore for all involved. Don’t expect a sequel or expanded cinematic universe starring these two in the future!
