Ancient Artifacts Found Frozen In Ice

Otzi Man

Here is a picture of Otzi Man, one of the most famous men to ever be discovered in the ice. Believed to be around 5,300 years old, he was discovered in the Alps between Italy and Austria. It is understood that he is a direct ancestor to some of the folks living in the region today.

When scientists opened him up, they found that he was full of diseases. He had gallstones, gum disease, hardened arteries, and worms. His shoulder was damaged by an arrow, which perhaps explains how he died.
