Ancient Artifacts Found Frozen In Ice

These fellas also go by the name Cave Lions, just in case you’ve heard both terms flying around. These animals were made famous in the wildly successful Ice Age film franchise. Recently, scientists found the frozen remains of one in Yakutia, Siberia.

Like many animals from the ice age, Sabretooth Tigers died out around 10,000 years ago. Many believe it was due to the over-hunting from humans for their fur and meat. Creatures like this help us learn more about our previous ages.
