In the summertime, temperatures in Giza can easily reach around 40 degrees in the day, resulting in many believing that the interior temperature of the pyramids is probably even higher.

It’s completely unknown how the Egyptians managed it, but the average temperature inside the pyramid is a cool and temperate 20 degrees. How the ancient engineers managed this is not known and just another mystery of the pyramids. The temperature control has also prevented the paintings inside from eroding.
