Sphinx the protector

The Sphnix was used often in ancient Egypt mythology to act as a guard and spiritual protector for anything that was deemed important to the Egyptians. With the body of a lion and the head of a human, it was supposed to be intimidating.

The Sphinx that sits next to the pyramids is a massive 65 feet 7 inches tall, 239 feet 6 inches long and 19 feet 8 inches wide. The Sphinx took years to build as it also needed to be carved properly.
