Considering the Pharaohs inside the tombs were supposed to be untouchable, it was only right that the heaviest possible doors were included to keep people out. One door on the pyramid weighs a huge 2 tons, but that doesn’t mean no one could open it.

The carefully thought out construction allowed for the doors to be balanced accordingly so that they could be opened with one hand. The doors weren’t intended to stand out, so they were camouflaged to fit in.
