The Dogo Argentino’s were first bred in Argentina to be hunting and guard dogs and due to this nature, they have been banned in many different countries. While they can be protective and loving of their families, their behavior can also be highly unpredictable and destructive if they are not watched over.

They are useful dogs in the workforce as police dogs, guide dogs or guard dogs and service dogs. They can easily get restless if they aren’t doing anything.
