The Rottweiler is a very territorial dog and in some cases it can be aggressive if it hasn’t had the correct training. They are a very strong breed of dog but this can be dangerous in a vulnerable setting.

However, if they are socialized from a young age they can be good with families and children. In many cases, rottweilers have been used as guard dogs in the home and will be fiercely protective of their owners, just make sure they don’t assert themselves!
