Most commonly known as the Caucasian Shepherd Dog, these dogs were mostly bred in Georgia. They are generally calm and low-energy breed but can switch their personality if someone they don’t know enters the home.

They’re not a sociable dog and do not do well with other dogs from any other breed. If you have a home where people are in and out a lot, this dog would not adapt well to that environment. They can have health issues and are prone to obesity so need exercise.
