Actress Isla Fisher met fellow actor and comedian Sacha Baron Cohen in 2002 at a party in Sydney and they immediately hit it off. After dating for two years, the couple became engaged in 2004 but waited until 2010 to officially marry. When it came to their wedding, they wanted a private affair with only 6 family members in attendance.

Fisher informed her friends and family of their union in an email, writing “We did it — we’re married! It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much. I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss — just us!”
