Reality stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag startled fans when they eloped in Mexico in 2008. As assumed for these two fame-hungry pop culture characters, they had a second and televised wedding (which was shown on The Hills) in Pasadena a few months later.

Lauren Conrad, Heidi’s co-star and former best friend, went to the wedding even though there was speculation that she wouldn’t show up. According to the show, she didn’t get along with Spencer. Lauren allegedly “had a fit” at her friend’s wedding, which isn’t very nice but probably did well for ratings.
