Another Royal couple to hit our list belong to the nation of Bhutan. King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck met his future wife, Jetsum Pema when she was just seven years old. It is said that she declared her love for him then and there.

He promised her that when they would get married once she was of age – but only if they were both single and were in love with one another. They married in 2011 and welcomed a son in 2016, who will one day be king.
