As we know, Saldana’s Gamora technically died in Avengers: Infinity War and made a brief appearance as a past-self in this year’s Endgame. However, when the story came to its end, the living Gamora returned to 2014 and the Guardians went off without her.

At the moment, it’s unclear what the future holds for Saldana and her place in the MCU. Might she appear in Guardians of the Galaxy 3? No one truly stays dead in comic books, so it wouldn’t surprise us if they found a way to get her back.
