Infamous in name, the box jellyfish has a kill count greater than some of the most deadly animals on the list. It is known as one of the most venomous creatures on the planet also living around the Australian continent.

It gets its name from its box-shaped body and has tentacles that can grow up to 10ft long. If stung by a Box Jellyfish, you can expect to feel excruciating pain or paralysis. In 100 years, there have been 69 reported human deaths from these terrors.
