This species of caterpillar is a lot of fun to look at, resembling the Mothra monster from the Godzilla franchise. However, they can be almost as destructive as the giant monster! They lay eggs that hatch into larvae that are also covered in hair with the ability to sting subjects. Their stings can cause a variety of symptoms, not just conventional pain.

This is to make sure that no one attacks them while growing inside the egg. Sadly, humans aren’t immune to this and can feel extreme discomfort if they come in contact with these animals. Stay well away!
