6 Degrees – Meryl Streep & Adriana Lima

Last week, we discussed Julia Roberts’ and Justin Bieber’s “6 Degree” connection, and revealed the fact that they are connected through only 2 degrees.  

The next pair of celebrities we are looking at is multiple Oscar-winner Meryl Streep and supermodel extraordinaire Adriana Lima.

Meryl Streep is one of those rare actresses, so good in her profession, that she has not only always been offered movie roles, no matter what age, but has also been nominated for the prestigious Academy Award 21 times! That’s a record that no other actor has achieved in the history of the Academy Awards. 

Adriana Lima

Adriana Lima is a Brazilian model and actress, and has been modeling since the age of 13. She is now one of the highest paid models in the world, and was a Victoria’s Secret Angel for 17 years, finishing her last show in 2018. Even at the age of 38, she totally defies the modeling world proving that at her age, she can still come out tops. She has also dipped her toes in the acting world, appearing in a few movies and TV shows. 

So, how are these two very different stars connected? Well, besides the fact that they are both extremely successful, Meryl Streep was in The Manchurian Candidate with Vera Farmiga, who starred in The Hire with Adriana Lima . This makes their connection only 2 degrees apart. Also, Meryl Streep was in Mamma Mia! with Stellan Skarsgård, who was in The Hire with Adriana Lima.
