It’s was an interesting soap opera as it had many multiracial main families in it. There were the half-Mexican, half-Irish Lopez-Fitzgeralds, African American Russells and the Caucasian Cranes and Bennetts. There was also a supernatural story line including a witch and her doll which came to life, which is quite creepy! The soapie did incredibly well for the female age, 12-17 group and was nominated for many Daytime Emmy Awards.
